Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Star Wars netbook gameThis game runs surprisingly well on a old netbook with 512 megs of RAM. The game has no lag at ALL. Runs 50-60 FPS with low settings. Tuning up the graphics won’t compromise the performance at all. The game is a first and third person game. It’s set in the Star Wars world, you play as Kyle Katarn with a blaster and a stun gun at the beginning. You go through different levels of fighting enemies, obtaining different weapons along the way. It gets harder eventually as you progress through the levels. More info can be found on the site for the game. I mean the LOWEST.

Deus Ex

One of the single best fps’s that I have ever played. Combining both Fps and RPG elements to create one ultra-game. Deus Ex revolutionised the FPS genre by introducing in game inventory, weapon upgrades and a leveling up system. This Game was named best game of all time in Pc Gamer’s top 100 Pc games and was nominated for a whole mess of game of the year awards. You play as Jc Denton, a biologically enhanced super agent who’s job is to eliminate all terrorist forces in the year 2050. This game almost never has any framerate issues as it runs off a similar engine to the original half-life. – Connor Etchells

Thief: The Dark Project

Thief The Dark Project Netbook compatibleMore from Connor Etchells, this time a sneaky one…

Thief: The Dark Project is a classic first-person stealth based game. you take on the role of a thief (as the name suggests) who is a member of a special thieves guild who sneaks into large houses and loots them while avoiding contact with the guards. You must hide in the shadows and silently kill all who stand in your way to get the ultimate prize hidden somewhere in the level. Find your target and make some money while you escape by stealing fine china and solid gold candle holders. This game will always run at a solid smooth framerate with very few -if any- framerate problems.
