Hey, InstantSonic is into his hard core war games, I remember getting excited over this game when it first came out, I`m staggered it runs on a Netbook!! Good find fella!
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis is a game that was released in 2002, and considered by most people as the ultimate war simulator. 3 sequels to the game have been released since, and none of them can compare to the realism of combat in Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis. The game used the same engine as one of the top military simulators at the time. The game requires a great deal of strategy, and a sense of place in combat situations within the game. Operation Flashpoint takes place during the mid 1980′s, during a ficitional war between America and the Soviet Union. Three games that used the Operation Flashpoint engine been released since, while only one of those three were actually a direct sequel, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. The other two games were ArmA: Armed Assault and ArmA: Armed Assault 2.
