Allegiance

Gizmo reports on a hardcore sci-fi game… Allegiance is a multiplayer only space sim, originally developed and published by Microsoft, that has since been made free and taken over by a dedicated community. A hybrid of spaceship shooters and strategy, it heavily emphasizes teamwork. “Best game no one Played” was the award it was given, and for a reason….. The learning curve is steep. Really, really steep. To fully grasp its steepness, all you need to know is that there is a full wiki maintained by the community, on top in-game tutorials, with pages upon pages detailing strategies and mistakes newbies will make.
